Wow. 

I have stretch marks all over my thighs.  I used to hate them and be really self-conscious about them, but now I have a philosophy similar to that above.  I will never forget the struggles of recovery, my stretch marks are my scars.  They are battle wounds, but I am still alive.  I am surviving this war.
